Books are a window of knowledge for your child. They play an
invaluable role in your chills development. Even before they can
talk, read to your child. They absorb more than you can ever imagine !
Reading together is a very special way to spend quality time.
They will always remember their favorite book that a special loved one
read to them at bed time. Classics like Dr. Suess, "Green Eggs and
Ham", Eric Carle, "The Hungry Caterpillar" and my sons
personal favorite "Goodnight Moon" by Margaret Wise Brown !
Another very special book that has now become a classic "Love You
Forever" by Robert Munsch. Watch the excitement in their faces
when they learn how to read on their own, it opens up a whole new world
for them. As they get older they will enjoy reading chapter
books. You are never to old or to young to sit down with a good book.
